I am a Graphic Designer / Art Director with experience in designing for print and digital meduims using Mac and PC based operating systems. I possess a clean, modern, yet edgy design sense with a heavy emphasis on typesetting, typography and white space using grid systems to achieve best results in any layout or design. My career has been deadline based so time management is paramount. I am seeking a position to learn more digital based design using more UX and UI principles. 

Creating the complete aesthetic for Snowboarder Magazine, Transworld Skateboarding and Dew Tour Events. Also responsible for the creation and production of graphics for T-shirts, stickers, Web and print advertisements, flyers, posters event graphics (signage) and social media assets from conception to completion. I spearheaded the rebrand of the 70 year-old Telescope retailer into a company that looks like it lives in the 21st Century. I executed the Art direction and redesign of all digital marketing design materials including Web banners, Web landing pages, Website, Product Photography, Photo Retouching, E-mail marketing design using Constant Contact. The new branding and design boosted sales up at 40% in the first year of the new site redesign. The new look made it easier for customers to search for the products they are shopping for. Responsible for the design and production of the marketing materials for the e-commerce website of Snapfish LLC. Duties include photo sourcing, art direction, and image production and manipulation.

Senior Designer

Created the complete aesthetic for RideBMX magazine also responsible for the production of graphics for T-shirts, stickers, advertisements, flyers, and posters from conception to completion. Gave RideBMX a redesign in 2008 that attracted the attention of the BMX industry and magazine industry. As a result, increased ad sales and the popularity of the magazine overall. The tasks included:
• Digital photo color correcting and retouching using Adobe Photoshop
• Scanned through Adobe Photoshop with Epson Scanners
• Set up templates and styles, color palates, in Adobe In Design
• File and photo management using Adobe Bridge
• File and color proofing using Adobe Acrobat
• Worked with vendors for the printing of T-shirts, clothing and stickers
• Proofed, pre flighted, prepared press-ready PDF files
• Preformed image compression, file correction and optimizing techniques
• Designed and prepared graphics for web.
• Designed web interfaces for website using Adobe Photoshop.
