A successful future is what has always driven me to work hard. I am ambitious in all that I do and put forward every ounce of my acquired skills and innate passion to create successful results for the company and team I work with. And I’m known to mix in a lot of fun, too! I started as an Intern at Neebo, updating banners and descriptions on the site. In the process of wrapping up my marketing degree, I brought fresh knowledge to the role and an eagerness to take root at a great company. Exploding with high-tech originality, energy, and amazing people, I was fortunate to earn a full-time role as a Content Specialist. The most exciting project I have been involved in to date is the launching of the new website platform, which gave Neebo.com a blank slate in the innovative development of websites for our 200+ college stores. The view from the backend of this revolution—seeing all of the work that goes into a transformation like this— has been amazing. Since the launch of the new IBM Websphere platform, I have worked side-by-side with IT and the operations team to ensure a positive user experience for all of our customers. In addition to site maintenance, I am the team lead for the launch of a new ticketing system, Zendesk, which automates the dispersal of client emails to the correct team member to complete the task. This tool has increased work order efficiency and decreased reaction time. Prior to Neebo, I managed a skateboard shop for nine years with a focus on developing the company’s brand and target demographic through website development and enhancement of marketing activities. I pioneered the transfer of old site content to an updated, user-friendly platform, and built a successful image for the shop.
