“After Hours” Freelance Designer

I am Danielle Kreke. I am mid-level graphic and web designer from the Greater Chicago Area. Since 2007, I have been working in the marketing department of a rapidly expanding manufacturing company. I am looking for full-time hire in Los Angeles, California.

“After Hours” is a shortened way of saying “I take on freelance clients in the evening and on weekends.” Being able to work with freelance clients has enabled me to gain experience in areas I might not be able to work with frequently. These areas include but are not exclusive to working on websites and branding development. My longest client is Central Iowa Daylily Society, 2006.

Responsible for the conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as advertisements, business cards, brochures/flyers, illustrations, labels, logo design/brand identity, manuals, packaging, photography  (D-SLR camera, photo re-touching, photo manipulation), POP (Point of Sales), tradeshow materials, visual aids (used in sales presentations), and websites.

Mid-Level Graphic Designer

Responsible for the graphic design, navigation development, operation, and management of websites utilized by the University of Northern Iowa.

Information Technology Services - Web Designer

Utilize typography to produce a 12-page, quarterly publication for Iowa Central Community College using desktop publishing software and create a website design for the newspaper.
