Social Media and Marketing Coordinator

My previous job titles include Social Media Marketing Coordinator, Communication Research Ambassador, Server, Visual Merchandiser and Assistant Manager. I would like to work for an action sport company with the same values as myself.

In my current position, I have created and maintain the social media accounts of the company which included Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, 805connect and LinkedIn. I create marketing material for all of the websites through the use of Paint and Adobe, and reviewed Google analytics to evaluate which sites where receiving the most and least traffic. I also plan and organize marketing events, perform sales pitches, and research other opportunities for our company.

As Research Ambassador, I created and facilitated focus groups, analyzed data and researched other communication programs to see which areas they were excelling in. My job also included planning events for 300+ participants, and speaking at the events about the program and university.

As a server, it was important to attend to customers needs, bring them items which they requested in a timely manner and maintain the restaurant. I also helped with busing and hosting when requested.

As a hostess, my duties included warmly welcoming customers into the restaurant, taking customers to their tables, attending to take-out orders, and helping servers when necessary.

As Visual Merchandiser, I was responsible for making the store visually appealing to customers. I organized products in the most profitable positions, changed the floor sets for sales, holidays and new shipment, changed the signage when necessary, and helped with the receiving of new merchandise. I also trained new staff members, shipped products to customers, tracked products, maintain relationships with customers and acted as floor manager when needed.

As Assistant Manager, my duties included directing staff, assisting phone and walk-in customers, counting funds, and opening and closing the shop.
