I love the outdoors and ripping down trail on my mountain bike. I am a gear nut and love quality, useful gear.

• Drove product development process along-side Product Development Mangers and Product Manager from briefing to
delivery to market, ensuring all model-line features and product designs met needs of consumer, sales, marketing, quality
standards and department vision. Continually vetted product requirements and market insight to ensure products were
meeting requirements through each stage of the development process.
• Developed customer-driven product innovation and product updates from the feedback on user experience, product
performance, reported issues and product return data. Actively conducting research with users and sharing insights with
various teams, influencing by leading discussions about product innovation and improvements.
• Worked directly with Product Development Managers vetting all pipeline product concepts and manufacturing designs for
structural design, function, wear & strength issues. Coordinated supplier internal testing and manufacturing issue
resolution. Designed and built testing equipment to meet qualifying standards.
• Partnered with Development Managers, Marketing Managers, Customer Service Manager, and Sales Managers to ensure
successful implementation of product updates, user experience solutions and product instructions.
• Leveraged design thinking approach to lead Stage-Gate briefs for the development team, giving insight into design and
development processes pertaining to consumer insight, product performance, product requirements, product sample
evaluations, innovation concepts, product quality, regulation & compliance.
• Implemented and oversaw all compliance requirements into final products including regulations (by country and region)
including: labeling, testing requirements for industry standards and ensuring product performance (ISO/EN/ASTM
standards).

Manager, R&D Product Development/Quality Assurance

•	Manage operations and processes within Operations, Marketing, Design, Production & Scheduling departments. Create and analyze inventory control & purchasing forecasts while maintaining economic order quantities for sourcing raw material and supplies to meet financial goals.
•	Coordinate product development including vendor sourcing, production cost analysis, production lead times, production scheduling and marketing calendars. Successfully created product development stages calendar for future 18 months of design, marketing, production, inventory and purchasing to optimize potential revenue growth and market penetration.
•	Optimize process flows for manufacturing by implementing Lean Manufacturing techniques, including production leveling and waste reduction. Savings of approx. $2-3M per month were realized within three (3) months through smaller production batches, less waste and less overproduction.


Manager, Operations 

• Successfully directed in depth market analysis, prototype, and validation stages of the product development for multiple simultaneous projects resulting in enabling the company to expand market offerings and advance company objectives opening potential for over $5MM in new revenue.
• Conducted in depth market research and prospective customer analysis for market of over $20MM, providing valuable insight for product line development and capital investment decisions.
• Facilitated strategic development of new products and marketing campaigns for product categories by engaging stakeholders in Engineering, Product Management and Marketing, resulting in the development and facilitation of Stage-Gate methodology for product research and stages of development related to potential capital investment projects.
• Responsible for creating new methods for purchasing forecasting and production for over $10MM in product sales.

Manager,  Product

• Managed all purchasing of computer, phone and electronic equipment, rotation of old equipment and maintenance of software and hardware for entire team resulting in 20% savings. Included evaluating and sourcing from three to five vendors and associated installation services as needed.
• Managed and implemented an entire benefits transition to a new platform (insurance and HR management). Successfully implemented and transferred entire company of over 50 employees to new system within one (1) month including creating and maintaining new company policies and procedures.
• Simplified and transformed training procedures and manuals for Sales teams, condensing all sales manuals of over 100 pages down to 30, resulting in improved sales training processes and enabling higher performance and retention among new trainees.

Manager, Operations

• Managed all retail operations for Purchasing & Inventory departments of $1.5 MM yearly revenue. Implemented a new inventory system that significantly improved order accuracy and enhanced the sales process through stock-out prevention resulting in a savings of 15% in otherwise wasted cashflow.
• Oversaw all sourcing and retail sales activities including negotiating terms and pre-season orders with key vendors, enabling the company to save 5-10% on regularly stocked inventory items. Created forecasts for anticipated seasonal sales and sales processes for retail team.
• Oversaw all social media marketing and website management. Increased digital interactions and following by over 200% by creating shareable educational/promotional content with current customer base.

Manager, General  / Marketing

• Responsible for property acquisition prospects value of $5MM + each, entire portfolio valued at over $2B. This
included market evaluations, tenant reliability estimates and vacancy calculations. Successfully completed new
methods of evaluating prospects cutting evaluation time by over 65 percent.
• Created and presented RFPs for stakeholders and investors in prospective projects.
• Performed trend analysis for key markets and developed actionable worksheet templates for stakeholders.

Investment Analyst (Intern), Property Acquisition

• Responsible for leading bicycle build/repair shop including organizing, motivating and training employees,
including technical knowledge for suspension, componentry and tuning.
• Conducted Research & Development testing of new products and prototypes to ensure proper function design
requirements and fit and finish for final products.
• Provided customer support for mechanical and warranty issues, ensuring the customer was taken care of and
supplied with their needs fulfilled.
