Account Manager

As a highly motivated, hard  working, goal oriented, and  enthusiastic individual, I enjoy  being a productive member of  a team. I look to explore  careers outside of my current  field and expand upon my  knowledge and experiences  that will allow me to be more  successful.

•Develop and maintain relationships with buyers within the West Coast of the US, including 
department stores such as: Shiekh Shoes, WSS, Buffalo Exchange, and Gen-X Stores.
•Created and maintain the company’s Twitter and also Instagram accounts; allowing not only our      
customers, but also our end user to be engaged and informed about the line.
•Work hand in hand effectively with cross-functional teams – specifically design & merchandising   	in order to communicate account needs that assists in the most the positive sell through.
•Managed and ran project for private label orders amounting to 300K of guaranteed business under
the Jordan Craig Line. This was part of over sales gain of 2.2 million dollars within the 2013
Fiscal year.

Responsible for generating new sales by calling on medium to large size companies while			maintaining established accounts by customer relationship building 
Managing full turnkey packaging programs from start to finish with customer and vendors 
Establishing vendor relationships for co-packing activities along with packaging materials		accomplished by working with over 100 suppliers from co-packing to packaging materials	 
Responsible for procurement, outsourcing, 3PL, contracting, and account customization for each		packaging project
Lead project which brought in 572K packaging product for brand name WEB (air				purification/deodorization products) that is currently being sold in Wal-Mart’s nationwide

Assisted in the analysis of global markets and vendor capability to support a global Quick Lane initiative
Developed business case, and aided in the prioritization of expansion opportunities
Developed phased launch plan and  support requirements (from a North American and market perspective)

Sales and Marketing Intern

Assisted freight forwarders and customers with various US Customs related issues.
Worked directly with Ford Motor Company shipping Ford Edge and Escape from Baltimore (BWI) terminal to   Luanda, Angola and Lagos, Nigeria ports, respectively.
Corrected EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) errors and loaded all Break bulk, RO/RO (Roll on/Roll off), and containers from the dock onto the next vessel.
