Office Manager/Driver

I am a mother of 4 from Southern  California. My family is very active,  spending much of our free time surfing  or at the beach. I have excellent  customer service skills and believe  the customer is just as important as  product. Customer satisfaction is measured not only by the product being purchased, but also by the purchasing/problem solving experience as well.  Happy customers are repeat customers.  I have a very keen sense of detail, I have worked extensively with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), I know how to properly and effectively communicate to clients/customers via both phone and email.  As a surfer I am familiar with surf products and would like to find employment in the industry which myself and my family support deeply.

I currently am the office manager as well as a driver for Rapid Rx Delivery, which is my husband's business.  I am responsible for all billing using Quickbooks, any correspondence between the company and the pharmacies (or their parent company) that we deliver medicine for.  I maintain all electronic files for the work completed, track payments/non-payment of invoices, bank deposits, etc.  As a driver I pick up medications from various pharmacies and deliver the medicine to the pharmacy clients.  I have face to face interaction with both pharmacy personnel and the customers.  I utilize GPS, collect money and verification signatures, I listen to and communicate with customers that are sometimes upset with the pharmacy and help them through the process of fixing the problem.

As a research specialist I handled anywhere from 20-50 projects at any given time.  I was responsible for each customer's project from set up to breakdown.  I was given the goals of each project and needed to calculate time frames for each phase of the project (set up, breeding, weaning and genotyping, shipments, etc.).  I was responsible for overseeing that each technician working on the project was completing work orders correctly, and following all humane animal standards.  I would update and send weekly reports to investigators, communicate daily (via phone and email) with clients, place orders and set up shipments, find solutions for any problems that might arise (animals deaths, genotype issues, breeding issues) and communicate possible solutions to the clients.  I worked with Microsoft Office utilizing Outlook, Word, and Excel on a regular basis.

As a Supervisor I was responsible for overseeing a group of animal technicians to make sure they were adhering to work protocol.  I did audits of the work completed, I oversaw or trained new technicians, I maintained all SOP's and held meetings when these were updated.  I was responsible for holding technicians to high animal care standards and writing up those who did not meet those standards.  

As an animal technologist I was responsible for the constant care of customer animals.  I was responsible for following work orders given to me by project managers (breeding, weaning, food & water, shipments, receiving, checking animal health and reporting any issues).  I was held to high standards in animal care and communication with my superiors was a necessity.
