Professional Bicycle Guide

As an adventurer I am seeking an adventurous career in the outdoor industry.  I believe I am a great asset with unlimited potential that hasn't been used to full capacity.

Guides can make or break a trip. Aside from the outstanding meals, lodging, and the carefully selected routes, guest's vacation is about personal service. Finding your favorite drink at lunch (after casually mentioning it the day before). Getting a lift in the van when you need it (and feeling fine about taking it). Learning about the wildlife, geography, and history of the areas we travel through.  As a Guide I wear many different hats.

Provide personalized experiences through private and group instruction, beginner to advanced, by customizing lessons to achieve customer goals.  

As a Staff Trainer I provide clinics for full and part time staff members that are seeking to improve their teaching as well as their own personal riding/teaching goals.  I am also a resource for staff who are preparing to take certification exams.

Snowboard Instructor/Staff Trainer

Conduct and review Instructor Training Course for new hires as well as conduct season long Training Clinics for all snowboard instructors both part and full time.

Training Director

Perform all kitchen duties from dishwashing, kitchen prep, preparing salads, appetizers, and desserts.

Kitchen Staff

Provided expert knowledge and customer service dealing with snowboard and skateboard equipment ranging from hard-goods to soft-goods (equipment and tools as well as outerwear and apparel).  

Snowboard Technician.  Took care of repairs, tunes, and waxes.

Rental Technician.  Managed rental fleet by scheduling, cleaning, repairs, tunes, and waxes.

Sales Expert

Provided new and experienced customers with knowledge of rafting, paddling, team skills, whitewater swimming, safety precautions, as well as information about the area including the history of the river and the geological significance of the area.

Also provided gourmet lunches and dinners as Chef to All Day and Overnight clients.

Raft Guide

Accomplished various tasks as an intern for Smokeskreen which at the time was a Startup created by a few University of Wisconsin Madison students.

Marketing Internship

Filled in as the utility man, the Jack of all trades.  Manually took care of all parts of shipping and receiving including preparation and stocking.  Prepped and engraved products as well as finishing final product by cleaning and adding details and checking for quality prior to shipment or pickup.

Shipping/Receiving and Quality Control/Installer

Provided the highest quality of landscaping in both residential and commercial environments.  

Team leader of four to mow, trim, and clean properties.  

Team leader in charge of all tree and bush trimming on properties for spring and fall seasons.

Also handled weed killer to take care of overgrown weeds in the cracks of roads.  Most of these jobs were done solo.

Landscaper

Worked in the finishing department to ensure no defects, sizing calculations, and straightness of high end products for major companies such as Harley Davidson, John Deere, and Savage Arms.
