Graphic Design/Social Media Intern

Gina Almonte is a highly creative, hardworking and open-minded individual who creates organic designs with a purpose. Recently graduated, magna cum laude, with an Associates of Arts Degree in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with a strong determination to use her artistic ability to communicate in a way that is visually pleasing. Gathering inspiration from the beauty that surrounds her daily & going forth with a full passion towards everything she takes on in life to achieve a result that goes above and beyond.

Create mock ups & look books for press on Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign, retouch photos, utilize various social media outlets to engage with followers, build & organize archives of fashion design information (images, editorials, garment references, fabric sourcing's, important documents, etc.), flat photo shoot styling, collaborate with internal departments on projects, assist in design process.

Greeted customers to determine their needs/wants, knowledge of information on product in order to advise the best merchandise to the customer, answered customers' queries & concerns, helped customers make selections by building customer confidence; offered suggestions & opinions, styling, building clientele & informing the customer of sales and future merchandise of potential interest, processing payments, assisting in visual displays.
