Customer Product Development Coordinator

After graduating with my Bachelor of Science in Apparel Merchandise and Management from Cal Poly Pomona, I was able to start off my career at Forever 21 Corporate in the International Buying Department. Beginning my career as Production Associate I was able to dip my feet into the great big world of fashion!

My internship at Disney Consumer Products as a Project Coordinator gave me the opportunity to enhance my skill set, work with artists, understand the licensee world, as well as grow my knowledge in coordinating marketing programs. 

Most recently, my roles at Quiksilver Corporate have made a great impact on my career in the action sports industry. Through both of my roles as a Production Coordinator, handling various categories, and as a Global Product Manager for Roxy Footwear, I believe I have gained a substantial amount of experience and set myself up with a good foundation.

Liaison between Sales and Global Product Development (GPD) teams within the development hubs
Create all new developments in WebCenter, track, approve, and communicate with corresponding team upon apprvals
Prepare global price proposals across all product lines; calculate global program profitability
Define when customer requests counter-samples from global production locations are mandated
Upsell customers by presenting higher value product features/options that provide greater revenue and profit 
Follow up on sampling completion with GPD; receive sample package to include in customer presentations
Receive feedback on pricing, art proofing, and samples directly from Sales
Maintain and track customer development activity for any new or existing programs per product line
Update books containing approved samples, pricing, specifications or all retailer and brand owner specific custom reporting

Strategize daily with global regions to develop and execute all SMU and global inline product
Facilitate line plans, structures, and develop a global line that will meet the needs of each segment and country
Merchandise seasonal product assortment and segmentation 
Seasonally debrief global line plans and manage style/sku count; organize all line reviews and final adoption meetings 
Ensure that all product is purchased on a date that will provide on-time delivery
Seasonally prepare salesrooms for all sales meetings, outlining driver and key styles
Collect, collaborate, and approve all global region costing, forecasts, and MOQ 
Manage and collect sample buy logs to create catalogs, enter information in PLMF, and push to SAP for cross functioning teams to purchase

Global Product Manager - Roxy Footwear

Communicate daily with vendors, create and manage purchase orders, logistics of incoming shipments, negotiate pricing, lead-times and minimum order quantities
Organize all orders through SAP, maintain delivery dates, update price ticketing, and create inbound deliveries
Work closely with cross function teams, Demand Planning and Merchandising; attend seasonal buy meetings; responsible for purchasing, organizing, and the issuance of buys for US, EU, and APAC Regions
Manage shipping documentation, WIP maintenance, facilitate daily/weekly status recaps for Senior Sourcing Managers and Management 
Oversee bulk production quality control by ensuring vendors meet compliance/SGS test requirements/standards 
Manage all incoming PP, SZS, and TOP samples by working closely with Production Coordinators, Tech Team, and Merchandisers to ensure samples are received in adherence to global calendar dates
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of weekly recap and analysis

Production Coordinator

Fashion & Home Infant Softlines	
Assist the product development process by facilitating approvals between licensees, character artists, and internal design team.
Facilitate production meetings within internal department and partner with Canada to oversee Canadian submissions of all softline infant products. 
Coordinate strategic marketing programs by analyzing different retail competition. 
Track weekly sell-through data from licensees for each retailer and property.
Proactively support any licensee with Online Approvals through monitoring, tracking, and distributing product. 
Respond to all licensee requests as well as identifying any problems that occur during the production process. 
Support all management with daily responsibilities helping explore growth opportunities in the infant product category and at retail through consumer research.

Project Coordinator

Liaise between vendors and designers to coordinate production process and track delivery statues of orders on a daily basis, ensuring delivery to buyers are on schedule.
Sustain data and files for production matters and provide weekly reports to managers/supervisors.
Communicate with buyers and vendors, confirming on all development details lab dips and samples.
Assisted design/production teams to ensure and organize communication/information with supervisors and vendors regarding production and product development – from corporate to production.
