A detail-driven, highly motivated, project-oriented graphic design  graduate. Who is seeking work where I can utilize my creativity and strong graphic design skills in the print media, marketing, advertising or photography/video industry.

Taught Sophomores and Juniors Basic Photoshop Techniques. Using Adobe Photoshop’s tool palette, key components and the Bridge program to combine computer images and photos from SLR cameras for retouching and editing.

Taught Juniors and Seniors Advanced Photoshop. Using channel masks, advanced layer masks, brush techniques, and refine edge tools from the Creative suite to develop intricate works of design for class and student portfolios.

Taught Seniors Analysis of Print Production. Looking at print production for Graphic Designers, including offset printing, printing estimates, working with a printer, binding and finishing, paper selections, pre-press, color separations, color proofing, halftones, and scanning issues. Trips to print houses large and small to see actual work flow.

Millennium Printing Corp. Weymouth, MA  (September 2012 to July 2013) 
Worked in the pre-press department in a fast paced printing firm.  Managed orders using Equantum to produce new job tickets.  Responsible for new client set up and maintaining of client artwork using Q-Design.  Created and checked layouts for printing using Indesign, Illustrator and Quark. Preflighted layout and art work from multiple sales reps and clients to meet company print guidelines. Worked in tandem with press department and bindery department to output plates and to make sure multiple jobs were on schedule and met client deadlines.
