Rob Bertolina


As senior director of global creative, I have most recently enjoyed honing my leadership skills by focusing on the digital expression of the Old Navy brand. While driving the online creative vision and brand strategy for the largest apparel retailer in North America, I have had the privilege to learn alongside some of the brightest and most talented minds in the fashion industry. Together with my team, I have contributed to record-breaking year over year traffic and sales comps. Under my leadership, Old Navy’s creative team will continue to build on this momentum while laying the foundation for global expansion. I came to Old Navy by way of AAA, where I served as the creative director of brand experience. At AAA, I delivered high quality creative experiences to all customers by building and managing brand creative teams across multiple channels and customer touch points including online, store experience, direct response marketing and traditional advertising, as well as the award winning VIA magazine. Prior to AAA, I had spent seven years managing digital marketing creative and online communications for Gymboree, Janie and Jack, Janeville and Crazy8 brands. I have also spent a handful of years self-employed and enjoyed working with clients such as Williams-Sonoma, Teledyne, Warner Brothers, DirecTV, Terris and Barnes and Merle Norman Cosmetics. Last, I spent two years with Mattel conceptualizing packaging and branding solutions for Barbie. I graduated Cum Laude with a BFA from the University of Michigan, School of Art and Design. In addition, I studied closely under two of Los Angeles' finest designers: Mike Salisbury and Margo Chase. As much as I love design, my true passion is spending quality time with my wife and two beautiful girls. To create balance in my life, you can often find me in the gym, out on a long run, preparing a gourmet meal for family and friends, or taking in a Michigan football game.
