Care, Bay Area Health Care, Foundation Health, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Platt College, Brooks College, TJ Applebees, Binney & Smith (Crayolas) and Progressive Insurance.

Owner/President: Art, Creative, Advertising, Marketing

I ensure that each unit is move-in ready by assigning and supervising the craftsmen necessary to prepare each unit for its new tenants.  For example: painting, carpets (cleaned and/or replaced), bathroom and kitchen counter tops and tiles, re-glazing tubs and sinks if necessary, repairing or replacing blinds, fumigation (in very rare instances), plumbing, heating, interior and exterior janitorial services and all other repairs and improvements imaginable.  I photograph each unit, write compelling, descriptive, alluring and irresistible ad copy and places the ads online — and the phones ring off the hook!  Next, comes an endless parade of qualified tenants turning in their applications. Ultimately, the units are filled with great tenants, which more often than not, lead to the residual effect of ZERO DELINQUENCIES, ZERO HEADACHES and ZERO EVICTIONS!

Working in concert with the CEO, COOs, Presidents, Vice-Presidents and General Managers, I oversaw conception, design and production of virtually all things audio and visual for this highly respected, 40-year-old, award-winning automobile dealership. The Rusnak Auto Group holds the distinction of being the only dealership in the world to sell these luxury automobiles: Audi, Bentley, BMW, Jaguar, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce and Volvo.  Duties ranged from Creative Direction to Art Direction, including design and production, with emphasis on operations management and organization — budgets and aesthetics, as well as design and production.

Supervised, managed, motivated and directed 4 designers and freelancers for an incredibly fast-paced award-winning company, recognized as one of the world leaders in the scrapbooking industry. Duties ranged from design to copywriting, with a strong emphasis on management and organization.

Senior Art Director

Together with the Publisher and Editor, oversaw all design and production of this award-winning weekly newspaper; recognized annually as one of the country’s best business journals. Duties ranged from Creative Direction to Art Direction, including design and production, with a strong emphasis on operations management and organization.

Art Director

Supervised, managed, motivated and directed 2 designers for this 65-year-old company recognized as the world leader in producing and distributing beauty supplies for wholesalers and salons. Duties ranged from design to copywriting and included all budgetary concerns — from printing to postage.

Adjunct Professor

The Art Institute of Los Angeles is a branch office of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a member of The Art Institutes International. Courses taught included: Typography, Publication Design and Print Production.
