Snowboarding has been my driving passion for the last 25 years.  chasing the storm and riding on a deep powder day is one of the greatest feelings on earth. i just recently rediscovered backpacking and have taken several multi-day trips into the high uintas.

I am a recent graduate of the Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State University with a degree in marketing.  The Goddard School of Business & Economics at Weber State has the highest accreditation available to a university.  The professors at the school offer real-world experience, and design courses that make students use the full range of skills needed in the modern marketplace.  Designing integrated marketing plans, statistical analysis on the effects of  business training, market analysis of gift-giving trends, and  generating sales strategies and presentations for snowboard companies are just a few of the activities that I participated in while achieving my degree.

I am trained in almost all of the functions in the distribution center.  My main focus is receiving and restocking the products but I also support all of the outbound functions.  I am an active participant in process improvement activities and I have also teamed with a local animal shelter to increase the employee volunteerism rate.

DC Pro/Process Improvement Team

Led a small band of elite staff in the restock and freight put-away functions.  Assisted in the design and implementation of both restock and cycle counting functions.  Reduced inventory variance significantly by establishing better inventory storage methods.  Led annual consolidation and inventory counting team.

Swing Shift Lead

Provided the internal marketing functions for the board sports departments.  I chose the assortment and quantities carried of the products sold by the department.  I was in charge of training new and returning staff in the fine art of boardsport sales and led both the merchandising and sales efforts for the department. In the off-season I would help in sales of distribution for the furniture department.
