Led Sales and Profit Results from our Field Organization (432 stores in Costco locations, 65 locations in Army and Air Force Exchanges nationwide and over 500 locations in Staples).  Created vehicles for scorecard performance that integrated with a new field competitive culture to drive large sales growth and even larger profitability improvements.  Built a strong dedicated field leadership organization that embraced the customer experience and led their teams to do the same.  The organization (Costco) won the JD Powers award for the Best place to buy a wireless phone in 2011.

Reporting directly to the CEO, led Central Operations for the corporation: Work Force management, Store Operations, Training and Development, Communications, Loss Prevention, Security and Visual Merchandising.  Provided the design and implementation for the re-engineering of the field organization.  Reduced payroll expense by over $56m through the deployment of workforce management investments while improving on store coverage, turnover and ultimately guest experiences.  Refined and installed new store level processes that reduced the cost of physical inventories, saved time in receiving shipments of products and more accurately gave field input of replenishment needs.
