Golf Facility Manager/ Golf Professional

Managed the grand opening and daily operation of a newly constructed $2.3M teaching venue and delivered on the goal to restore member service and presentation standards of the highest level.

Assistant Golf Professional/ PGA B1

Developed golf retail shop and custom club shop business model plans to inject new business within a full service golf teaching and training center.  Reporting to a Master PGA professional created a retail shop overhaul and expanded a custom club fitting, build and repair shop that offered a high end, custom club fitting experience using launch monitor and shaft installation technology.  Implemented a comprehensive inventory management and POS system that improved shrinkage and margins and re-established positive relationships with twelve OEM manufacturers that enhanced sales within the marketplace.

Golf Operations Manager

Provided retail operations shift leadership and outdoor product expertise at the 200,000 square foot LL Bean flagship retail campus that delivered $62M in annual sales. Managed retail merchandising logistics and replenishment assignments for the sales floor, facilitated back of house inventory stockroom standards and processed all customer returns and inventory transfers. Provided POS, retail promotions and customer service leadership support to staff and worked to meet and support the world class service standards of the company.  Demonstrated outdoor sporting gear product expertise and actively engaged sales staff in team building programs and ongoing product knowledge within a premier outdoor sporting equipment, lifestyle clothing and home goods product portfolio.

Retail Operations Leader

Provided year round operations leadership and industry certified management support for a full service, non-profit ice arena and community recreation center.  Developed and managed a $1.8M operations budget and a sports programming schedule that created consistent annual net income growth on average of 10%-28% per year.  Developed innovative energy management systems that achieved utility savings of over $87,000 per year.  Fostered and created an employee and customer culture that focused on service and personal relationships.

Performed ion implant process equipment operation and process change overs in a world class, room semiconductor technology manufacturing environment.
