I have nearly ten years of experience working as a graphic artist. During my time in the industry, I’ve created t-shirts, posters, logos, and various other designs for everyone from rock stars to school kids, football teams to bikers, corporate types to moms. I have a strong print background - especially screen printing - and I love to explore new ideas using creative design!

Duties:
- Creating original designs for screen printed garments and posters
- Directly communicating with the client to figure out what design style best suits their needs
- Proofing customer art files for approval and ensuring approval is given before production
- Worked closely with our print manager on optimizing our process screen printing techniques
- Creating spot, 4 color, and simulated process separations for screen printing
- Preparing digital art files for third-party printers
- Creating and maintaining client retail webstore layouts
- Ensuring that the client webstore aesthetics closely match their current branding
- Photographing, color correcting, and photo editing
- Maintaining Ink Tank’s presence on social media
- Updating our website with current pricing, client lists, and recent work
- Create YouTube/Vimeo lyric videos for new Saddle Creek records releases
- Set up a Filemaker Pro database for art department record keeping
- Responsible for archiving all company art files and film transparencies.
- Maintaining art department computer hardware / upgrades
- Assisting with print floor production work when needed

Duties:
- Worked with licensed NCAA apparel companies to ensure all licensing standards were met
- Proofed all jobs for approval via email prior to production
- Created spot color and 4 color process separations for screen printing
- Recreated customer provided artwork that was provided in the incorrect formats
- Coordinated the scheduling of art jobs so that high priority jobs were addressed first
- Supervised and trained other graphic designers on the proofing and approval process
- Tested and implemented a dye sublimation garment printing system
- Entered print job-related data into the company’s Filemaker Pro database system
- Worked directly with customers to determine their design needs
- Responsible for archiving all company art files and film transparencies.
