My name is Sydney Jones and I am a recent graduate of the University of Utah. I am VERY passionate about sports marketing and hope to find myself in the world of action sports now that I have graduated.

•Make best matches for party size, party needs and suitable table

Marketing Assistant

•Lead Intern for 2014 NCAA Alpine and Nordic Skiing Championships (designing promotional material, event day marketing set-up  and monitoring, as well as public outreach)  
•Lead Intern for 2013-2014 Utah Men’s Basketball (marketing set-up before games, responsible for making sure all necessary promotional items are court-side prior to the game, delegation of in-game tasks to other interns at every home game)
•Lead Intern for 2012-2013 Utah Women’s Basketball (contacted and scheduled “youth teams of the game,” wrote and submitted a Pac-12 promotion proposal, created logs, scripts, and checklists for individual games, marketing set-up before games)
•Created various promotional materials using Adobe Creative Suite
•Assisted in city-wide distribution of marketing materials for all sports
•Helped coordinate and execute on-field marketing promotions during media time-outs and half time and quarter breaks during football games
•Execution of marketing promotions during other various sports including Baseball, Women’s Gymnastics, and Women’s Soccer

•	Prepped athletes with personal promotion items before each match
•	Gathered and organized promotional materials throughout the tournament
•	Executed in-match promotions 
•	Organized and prepped volunteers to assist in promotional giveaways
•	Escorted athletes to and from events to ensure scheduling stayed on track

Marketing and Promotions Assistant

•Created, organized and executed “Es Skate LA,” a skate demo for Hollenbeck Middle School students featuring the Bones Wheels professional skateboarding team with sponsorships from Red Bull and local skate shops
•Created an individual in-class tutoring plan for 10 students off-track to graduate from high school
•Met with teachers weekly to strategize around student support in academics and behavior
•Collaborated with 15 corps members to plan 10 school-wide events and initiatives
•Assisted in creating and implementing numerous literacy based, school-wide initiatives
•Assisted in site-wide soliciting of in-kind donations of essential City Year supplies
