I had the opportunity to work in different international companies such as Adidas and Rip Curl during my first five years of experience. I have learnt various things in term of design approach and trend development. I am currently working at Quiksilver as a Bags designer and developer. I began at the company as an Accessories&Bags Designer and Developer for Quiksilver in the design Departement. As well as designing and developping a part of the collection for men, youth and babies, I was lucky enough to assist the Bags and Accessories Designer, but also the Brand/Product Manager for accessories and the Buyer for accessories. I have been involved in color and trend research, shopping trips and global meetings. I have designing sketches and techpacks for bags, headwear, scarves, keyrings, underwear and towels. I have worked on products development included communication with asian factories, trips to Hô Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Seoul, Phnom Penh to finalize collections, approve fabrics, quality and design of the products. In all cases, I have adapted successfully. I have been responsive and I have seen mobility as an opportunity for new experiences and personal enrichment. Since the 1stDecember 2013, in addition to design a part of the Bags for DC and Quiksilver, I also source, develop and negociate the fabrics. I discover another creative job. I recouped a technical aspect of what I loved in the bags and the creativity to find and to improve colors and texctures. Quiksilver gave me the opportunity to develop and strengthen my skills. It is a brand borne of passion and enthusiasm that can identify strengths and assets. We are more versatile and constantly advancing.
