Responsible for overseeing the movement of all imported merchandise through the supply chain; negotiation and management of the domestic parcel, LTL and truckload freight from the West Coast facility; forecasting and inventory planning; manage the customer service role for all domestic and direct import customers; oversee customer shipment requirements to improve service efficiencies; analyze import supplier issues and develop corrective actions; correspond and direct Sauder’s overseas office and factories; negotiate pricing and control contribution margin; negotiate pricing for Sauder’s ocean and air freight; inventory and material procurement and maintenance.
