Freelance Graphic Designer

I've been in the graphic design industry for over 20 years. The fact that technology changes daily in this industry is a big reason why I stick with it. I love jumping into a project that will not only add to my skill set, but challenge my current methodologies.

I do everything from print to websites to motion graphic presentations. Anything that requires creativity and an eye for design is right up my alley. I've also been lucky enough to incorporate one of my other passions, music, into the occasional media project.

I prefer to work with a small group of regular clients versus bouncing from job to job. I enjoy getting to know the people, products, and services that are being marketed. Establishing those relationships creates a comfortable environment in which the flow of ideas is uninhibited.

While I've been a freelance designer most of my career, there's always been one or two primary clients for which I do work. That kind of focus produces superior results.

Work with CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, marketing managers, and staff project owners to facilitate print and multimedia projects. Involved in all aspects of project phasing, from conception to
final production. Create and assist with budgets and project scheduling. Procure print services or other
contracted services as needed.

PRINT: Corporate branding, product branding, brochures, posters, postcards, banners, conference/trade show booths and materials, flyers, direct marketing.

WEB: HTML/CSS development, JavaScript development and integration, PHP/MySQL development and implementation, Content Management System (CMS) development and implementation.

MULTIMEDIA: Video editing and post-production, audio composition, voice over performance,
Flash/ActionScript design and development, PowerPoint template creation.

WEB: 4D website maintenance, Joomla site development incorporating PHP/MySQL.

MULTIMEDIA: PowerPoint template creation, interactive CD-ROM for document delivery.

Graphic/Web Designer

Primary design firm for Behr Process Corporation (Behr Paint). Designed and produced product labels, display headers, color cards, and other collateral.

Also serviced numerous other clients by designing and producing brochures, product catalogs, posters, trade show booths, and logos. Also assisted with in-house photoshoots.
