Product Development Program Manager

Seeking a position as a Product Manager, to highlight my experience in sourcing, production, and international business.

- Execute Lean Production initiatives to achieve maximum performance in product component sourcing and production.
- Align with CRM tools and support demand/planning team to balance projected demands and prevent customer inventory stockouts
- Administrate vendor RFQ activations for optimized procurement strategies.
- Direct headwear and accessory samples and artwork development that align with the category sourcing strategies.
- Conduct multiple vendor KPI reports for quality and explore reduced cycle time.
- Communicate to purchasing and vendors for raw materials to be ordered for Category/Seasonal development 
- Day to day point of contact for overseas factory development to align with overall resource management scheduling.
- Ensure Brand meets all legal requirements for artwork and designs.
- Follow up order inquiry from customer by overseeing order placement, processing and follow-up of all orders in the responsible areas
- Review/confirm PO’s, pricing, styles, MOQ’s, Ship To/Bill

- Activated collaborative measures with Operations, Marketing, and Sales team in monthly S&OP meetings to define supply chain objectives and execution strategies. 
- Formulate vendor contracts including credit management, defining cycle times, development/production timelines.
- 4 direct reports, 30 indirect reports; reported to Senior Director.
- Biannual Asia travel to vendors to facilitate Key Account line plans and assist in vendor quality audits (SGS testing groups)
- Evaluate demand volume and timing by product, product family, and/or customer segment
- Maintain a relevant and current knowledge of current trends, new global silhouettes, global fabric development & global component development by attending various global trade shows. (Ex. SIA, Agenda, Outdoor Retailer, ISPO, Canton Fair China)
- Reviewed and approved purchase orders and requests affiliated with purchasing procedures.
- Assessed potential venture capital factories in China, Indonesia, Myanmar, and Vietnam.

Category Account Manager

- Analyze detailed Bill of Materials purchase recommendations and take appropriate procurement action for cost/benefit analysis.
- Oversaw development of sample development and production in China and Vietnam vendors
- Coordinate quarterly buy plans with Material Demand Planning team against Blanket POs.
- Implement quality control measures for multiple factory locations totaling a 2500 workforce.
- Identified, resolved and provided support for issues with purchasing and inventory.
- Planned, directed and oversaw material purchasing activities.
- Directed prototype samples and analyzed all technical development issues.
- Conducted supplier audits to ensure global, social and production compliance by international regulations.
- Leveraged company procurement activities through high levels of understanding the consumer market and production capabilities.
