MANUFACTURING AND PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - MANAGER

Production Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
•	Supervise first shift operators. (Team of 45 or more)
•	Conduct training,  line operations, machines operations, and AI’s
•	Run operations for Tones, and Probes, Marker Ball, Telephone sets, pad printing, Locators, and cord sets.
•	Report on metrics, hour by hour boards, daily defects, and daily yield for all areas. 
•	Back flush materials, SAP, Kronos timekeeping, and Ariba ordering.
•	Write and conduct mid-year and yearly appraisals.
•	Work with engineering on tack times, pitch, and progressive line assembly instructions. Line leveling on products, and sub assemblies
•	Maintain 100% productivity on all progressive assembly lines. Track yield, and scrap.
•	Eliminate scrap, and quality defects. 
•	Work with off line repair to find root cause for product failures. 
•	Control consumable supplies kan ban.
•	Report on metrics, productivity, direct labor, costs, and improvements during staff meeting.

Manufacturing Supervisor

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
•	Supervise first shift operators
•	Conduct training on all equipment
•	Conduct training on all safety issues, and requirements
•	Provide status reports on daily production
•	Attend daily planning meetings to set customer due dates

JOB DESCRIPTION: 
•	Supervise Production Control, Shipping/Receiving, and Stockroom Personnel
•	Set priorities for the Assembly line, and Demand flow technology line
•	Manage DFT matrix, and DFT line tracking
•	Report Cycle counts to management, and control inventory levels
•	Manage Kanban, RIP, and free stock materials
•	Order all packing material, and negotiate material cost with vendors
