Sales Associate

I would like to be able to run my own event coordinating business. I find it very rewarding to provide people with the ability to enjoy all aspects of what an event has to offer. Whether it is sports, social party, or a wedding; people are attending and are entitled to enjoy themselves. I would like to give them that experience.

The West Point Gift Shop is part of the Army Athletic Association. We sell athletic apparel and souvenirs to customers from all over the world. We are Nike supports, as well as brands such as Jansort, Champion, and 47 Brand. As being apart of the Gift Shop team my duties included: 

-Operating POS register system 
-Coordinate daily restock of merchandise on sales floor and organize/arrange merchandise for better appearance 
-Pack and coordinate transfer of merchandise to and from Gift Shop to various sales areas at events 
-Manage sales at Army Athletics and West Point Community Events (nailed it!)
-Serve as back-up for store operations, including customer service issues 
-Perform day-to-day tasks, including sales, store opening and closing, and merchandising
-Responsible for end of day financial paperwork (use of Microsoft word and excel)

*Able to do other duties such as answer phone calls, provide information to customers in need, and distribute mail to appropriate receivers  
Assist in mail order and E-commerce
