I currently have 4 years collectively within the cycling industry with a large amount of experience as a mechanic but with almost as much time spent handling product ordering, inventory, sales, and general bike store operations. In a career in the cycling industry, i have found that it is very important to "wear many hats" and through my experience I have come to understand the many responsibilites required in a bike store.

Weekly product purchasing and planning.
Deciding product lines and quantities to create product mixes and control costs.
Organizing inventory and POS System (products, invoices, purchase orders, and repair quotes).
Setting reorder points and correcting inventory counts.
Communicating with distributors.
Sales and Customer Service (in store and online).
Bicycle repairs and maintenance.
