A position with a company that will allow me to use all of my accumulated experience in Supply Chain Management to help the company achieve its goals.

Hired and trained a staff of 15 people.  Responsible for all inbound, outbound and warehousing duties.  Performed all purchasing responsibilities including negotiation of freight terms and contracts.  Supervised the customer service department and improved communication and relations with both the sales force and customers.  Wrote and implemented all warehouse procedures.

Shipping Supervisor

Took charge of setting up and running all operations of this facility.  Supervised staff of 10 people.  Responsible for all negotiation and re-ordering from vendors.  Reorganized warehouse floor to improve efficiency.  Took control of the company's dynamic inventory movement.

Distribution Manager

Created all the warehouse procedures including the cycle count program to meet ISO 9000 standards.  Supervised twelve employees.  Using cycle counting methods,  we were able to raise inventory accuracy from approximately 70% to 99%, thus improving MRP utilization and allowing us to avoid shut-down for physical inventories.  Advised other managers and departments on issues regarding freight and shipping times, as well as issues involving hoe to manage the movement od these delicate products.

Inventory Control Manager

Staring as a buyer, worked up several management levels that included inventory control, warehouse management and traffic management.  Supervised up to 40 employees. During this time, I re-organized and set computerized standards of purchasing and warehouse functions which significantly increased the materials department efficiency  Researched, analyzed and implemented more effective shipping, receiving and procurement procedures through centralization of activities which improved materials management operations and improved customer satisfaction.  Chosen by upper management to direct the start-up of a new distribution facility that resulted in a new customer base, and was in full operation in one month.
