Freelance Graphic Designer

Jordan Selan received her BA in Art History and Studio Art from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011. Selan has been freelancing in photography for about two years specializing in unique portraiture and alternative processes. Some of her influences include Sally Mann, Vivian Maier, Francesca Woodman, Sir Cecil Beaton & Sarah Moon.

She is currently enrolled in UCLA with plans to receive a DCA in Design Communication in the spring of 2015. She is focusing on logo design, title treatments, layout & other aspects of design with hopes of  bringing her innovative ideas to the design world.

Creating custom books for clients of their travels, hobbies, families, special events, etc.

- Responsible for all incoming calls; 
- Called clients weekly to see if they need restocking of product

- Answering incoming calls for an office with six lines, twelve employees.
- Delivering messages, forwarding calls, answering questions for prospective customers

- Contacting dozens of clients every month to help build their ads by a specific deadline & ensure they are suitable to run in each publication as well as assisting them with their online ad campaigns

- Responsible for assisting head photographers on site (weddings, bar mitzvahs, portraits) with lighting, meters and extra camera equipment
- Helped photographers set up the “ultimate” shot (best lighting, scenery, etc)
- Edited photos using Photoshop CS5 suite and then helped graphic designers layout books.
