I'm looking for a new equipment design opportunity in the outdoor / sports industry.

Product Designer for Altura Technical Bikewear. 
Design, develop and manage the bicycle luggage category for Altura Technical Bike Wear.
Analyse the market to identify trends and opportunities and develop innovative products to drive the brand forward.
Responsible for designing backpacks, pannier bags, seat packs and other bicycle luggage pieces.
Brand management responsibilities including weekly sales reviews and preparing and presenting quarterly sales data to Directors.
Present new ranges at seasonal sales meetings and trade show seminars.

Developing the camping equipment portfolio to elevate brand presence in an expanding market sector. Impelling quality and functionality to ensure products adhere to the history and expectation of the brand.

Product Manager & Designer

In house product designer, developing own-brand rucksacks, tents, camping and outdoor equipment.
Drove innovation in the product range to maximize sales, profit and positive P.R. Managed the product development process from identification of trends, through to design, sampling and costing, to ensure finished samples were delivered for range selection for the UK’s largest outdoor retailer.
Gained extensive Far East travel experience liaising directly with manufacturers -Developed and maintained strong working relationship with the own brand supply base.
Product management from concept to delivery into DC, working alongside the buying team in order to adhere to the critical path.
Working on own-brands such as Blacks, Technicals and Eurohike, I also developed licensed products for a variety of independent brands including Berghaus, Karrimor, Ministry of Sound, Celia Birtwell and Zandra Rhodes.
