Responsibilities Include: Develop forecasts for all NWM Inventories onsite and offsite using forecasting methods and business intelligence for over 900 skus. Partner with Shipping Manager to discuss business plans, inventory position and turns. Understand inventory flow and inventory life cycle and provide reports to identify items that need buying strategies for repurchase. Develop new metrics and reports to track forecast accuracy and product performance.

Inventory Analyst

Responsibilities Include: Develop forecasts for all assigned items using combination of statistical forecasting methods and business intelligence. Provide mentoring to junior analysts. Partner with Category Teams in discussion of business plans. Understand inventory flow life cycle and research forecast error reports to identify items that need forecast adjustments. Develop new metrics and reports to track forecast accuracy and sales trends and collaborate with key players to build and monitor forecasts for new items. Analyze impacts of advertising, new item introduction, price elasticity. Prepare item summaries for executive review on sales and forecast patterns
