I have been in the graphics field for over 22 years and have gained valuable experience in advertising and marketing material such as brochures, logos, posters, advertisements, product packaging, web sites, newspapers, books and so on. I am proficient with industry standard design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Quark and Premier. I also have a working knowledge of pre flighting files, pre press and the offset printing process. I take great pride in the design work I create and always strive to deliver an effective, focused, and on-target products that fit my employers needs and goals. I am a creative, reliable, hardworking designer who can work well in a collaborative team environment or individually. I consider myself a strong communicator, presenter, and listener. My career goals are to continue to learn new things while utilizing my creativity, knowledge, education and people skills to benefit my employer.

Graphic Designer

Supervised and oversaw 25-35 support staff members and managed daily
administrative operations. Responsibilities: Development of sales presentations for
staff; Budget preparation; General operation and maintenance of the office and
management of the ad filing system; Keeping the graphic department staffed
appropriately; Organizing and overseeing the completion of 200+ weekly magazines.

Graphic Department Supervisor

Producing packaging for sports products, including boxes, foils and
solicitations. Extensive knowledge in DCS files, and multi colored projects. Overseeing
projects from start to finish, including communications with the marketing department,
legal department and vendors. Responsibilities: Design; Preparing projects for press.

Production Artist

Scanning and often re-creating artwork for Military Yellow Pages, Relocation Guides and Chamber of Commerce Books. Digital film input using Heidelberg Tango and Topaz. Responsibilities: Typesetting; Book layout: Cover design; Cartography and working directly with film.
