Program Assistant

Provided support of the operations team in all aspects of the Marketing and Communications department. Key experience with managing budget spreadsheets and editing and approving marketing materials for publication.  Responsible for purchase requisitions and handling monthly department expense reconciliations in addition to providing graphic design support, communicating with external vendors, and being the go-between for internal requests for the Marketing & Communications department. Tasked with editing materials for content, general spelling and grammar, and overall brand voice. Helped the team accomplish a growing social media presence.

Worked to create innovative branded material used for promoting events and programs at Peninsula College through print and web; collaborated with the content team and web designer to design effective solutions for marketing the college and its events to students, faculty, and the community.

Graphic Designer

Assisted in creating branding material across both print and web platforms from conceptualization to final files; created pieces that were consistent with the tone of the Foursquare brand. 

Collaborated with the Communications team to create multi-platform projects for web, print and events; Prepared work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.

Other tasks included: image searching, image cropping, and Photoshop touch up.

Assisted the textile graphic designer with artwork and technical design & support for graphics as it relates to the fashion industry
