Reporting to Business Manager of Kohler Power Systems – Residential/Light Commercial
Responsible for strategic development and growth of the Kohler Power Systems Residential / Light Commercial generator product line. Introduced new generator products and marketing these products to grow the sales of the Residential Strategic Business Unit.

•	Managed all engineering and manufacturing tasks for $100M Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen all row seating to ensure timing, cost and customer objectives were met. 
•	Determined action plans on major changes requested by customer and collected important criteria from customer and suppliers to ensure changes made on-time and were cost effective.
•	Recovered $4M in tooling from DaimlerChrysler on time by working closely with Supplier Quality and obtaining full production approval (PPAP) in timely manner.
•	Developed action plan that resulted in cost avoidance of $400K in tooling expenditures for production trim tooling and protected launch date.

Reporting to the Customer Team Director
Responsible for all commercial issues as well as program management, including APQP of the Ford MY 2003 C170 Focus Side Door Latches generating sales revenue of $30M per year.  Quoted and negotiated all changes with Ford Buyer.
•	Negotiated $1M settlement from Ford Motor Co. as cancellation costs when the Mercury Cougar side door latch program was cancelled six months prior to launch.

•	Successfully transferred latch module assembly lines from Bosch to Brose facilities, while keeping production running.
•	Communicated extensively with colleagues in Wuppertal, Germany and traveled to Germany as required for the implementation of the Ford Focus side door latches in North America.

Expatriate Project Engineer – DaimlerChrysler Business Unit       		      1998-2000
Reporting to the Engineering Manager
Managed all engineering activities for 2000MY launch of the Mercedes M-Class complete seats – 1st and 3rd Row at the JCI plant in Cottondale, Alabama.    
 
•	Requested by customer to relocate to Germany to complete seating project for M-class. 
•	Engineered and evaluated all aspects of comfort and function of seats. 
•	Worked closely with Mercedes engineers and all Tier 2 suppliers to ensure tooling and parts met specifications and timing. 
Project Engineer – Mercedes Business Unit				  	      1996-1998

Responsible for design, production release and improvement on 1st and 2nd row complete seat foam, trim and plastic for the Mercedes M Class.  Had extensive interaction with customer engineering in Germany and Alabama.

Cross Functional Team leader for the FORD Mustang and the SATURN Wiper Systems.  Responsibilities included coordination of design, manufacturing, procurement, quality and warranty functional groups to meet customer needs.


Supported the Mechanism and Landing Gear Teams for the F / A-18 Hornet aircraft.  Primary involvement was in the evaluation and negotiation of engineering labor hours in Subcontractor proposals.
