Executive Event Coordinator 

My primary goal is to secure a position that challenges me and encompasses all of my skills and qualities. I would love to merge my extensive retail background, merchandising skills, communication education and event coordination & design industry experiences in one job.

Pure Lavish Events is an event coordinating company that focuses mainly on wedding planning. I am the only executive event coordinator on the team and my responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 
- Planning weddings (and other events) from start to finish 
- Effectively communicating with vendors to avoid misunderstandings and ensure an event goes smoothly 
- Acting as a liaison between the bride/client and vendors 
- Budgeting for clients 
- Managing social media accounts
- Event set-up & design the day of 


I am currently finishing an internship working directly under the Senior Vice President of Investment. I assist with office tasks and observe brokerage functions.

Intern

My time at Nordstrom was spent at multiple locations (Irvine, Brea, Arcadia, Newport Beach), the majority of my sales positions being in the Jewelry and Watches department. This job was commission-only pay, so was competitive in nature. I was a Nordstrom "All-Star" (highest customer service honor) and a quarterly Pacesetter. 

For two years I also served as the Brand Ambassador John Hardy (a fine jewelry line), where I was responsible for communicating with buyers and regional managers and the overall business of the brand. My first quarter in this position, the brand saw more than a 12% increase.
