Freelance Pitch F/X Operator

Proficient with Adobe CS3. Basic knowledge of various 3D programs (i.e. Cinema 4D, Carrera 5). 
Experienced in adding/removal of various software applications, as well as hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.

Pitch F/X was created by Sportvision, Inc. and uses cameras to track the pitch from about 50 feet away from home plate all the way to the very front of the plate. The cameras are usually set up on the first base side and above home plate to get a 3D picture of the pitch. As the cameras are tracking the pitch, a computer algorithm actually does the measuring of a ton of different things with the help of a human operator/technician. I set the strike zone for each hitter in the PFX system and that helps the computer “track” the pitches from velocity to release point to a pitch break to the pitch location.

I give verbal cues to networks and local talent, keeping the game on schedule. Due to the implementation of instant replay, the game nerds to be on a tighter schedule.

I'm responsible for the operation and maintenance of existing Virtual Reality (VR) at Proctor & Gamble facilities. 
    * Provide skilled event support to load digital assets, make small modifications to those assets, and navigate users through the VR Environment
    * Manage the operations of the hardware and software components of the VR facilities
    * Maintain the schedule of VR Sessions in each facility
    * Maintain support contracts with hardware and software vendors
    * Report on the usage and service measures of the VR facilities
