I have a beautiful daughter that was born august 31

2014 and she and my wife along with our two beagles take up most of my time.  if i get any free time

I try and play as much golf as possible.

Involved in the planning of the entire store layout and inventory from prior to initial
store build out.
• Responsible for selecting all manufacturers and all buying of hard and soft goods.
• Work with the storeowner to develop departmental budgets for future inventory
levels as we grow as a company.
• Responsible for all merchandising of 3000 sq ft retail space. Responsible for
selecting all fixtures and displays.
• Voted“ Best Golf Store” by Hilton Head Monthly’s Reader’s Choice Awards for 2012
,2013, and 2014. *We had only been open 6 months when we won in 2012.
• Voted “Best Sporting Good Store” by The Island Packet’s Reader’s Choice Award in
2013 and 2014.
• Manage daily operations, ordering inventory, replenishing inventory, employee hours
and payroll.
• Was able to obtain a YOY increase in sales of almost 100% from year one to year
two.
• Recruited and hired all staff. Responsible for hiring, training, and continuing
product education. I managed a staff of up to 5 employees.

Manager

• Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction for Members and Guests.
• Responsible for purchasing and merchandising all hard and soft goods carried in the proshop.
• Ensure that merchandise is presented in an effective, esthetically pleasing manner.
• Identify trends in apparel and needs of our members in order to conclude what products
should be continued discontinued and introduced to the pro-shop.
• Organizing and marketing of Member specific events such as Men’s day, Ladies day,
Couples’ golf, Member-Member, and Member-Guest events.
• Scoring of events and determining purse breakdown / prizes at conclusion of events.
• Playing socially with the membership as well as in other events, such as interclub events
and Pro-Member events.


Golf Professional

Worked directly under Property Manager in Charge.  Managed over 100 individually owned long term rental properties.  Processed applications, credit checks, and background checks.

Leasing Agent

Responsibilities include assisting in the managing of the largest Golf Pro-Shop on Hilton
Head Island, with annual sales in excess of $1.4 million (obtained on a 1700 sq. ft. sales
floor). Duties included participating in hiring and termination decisions, training, scheduling,
and evaluation of sales associates. I was also influential in the developing of merchandising
strategies, event planning, and individual and group golf instruction. Specific
accomplishments include:
• Achieved a high level of customer satisfaction, through the successful day-to-day
operation of the Proshop and golf course activities.
• As tournament director, I worked closely with the group coordinator to organize,
score, and act as “Tournament Host” to large groups that had chosen Palmetto
Dunes as the site for their special event.
• Responsible for training new Pro-shop staff, including proper use of the POS
system and Tee Time System.
