Education, when applied to one's day-to-day life, becomes an experience.  With that, I can say that experience has been my best teacher.  It is from this that I gained more knowledge in business administration; polished organizational, computer, customer service, and communication skills, always rooting for excellence.  Attention to detail and a keen interest in design have worked well in the experience.

Front desk tasks which include, but not limited to, answering and directing phone calls, schedule Masses, prepare monthly Mass assignment schedule, weekly deposits, materials for Sunday Masses, assist in money counting, coordinate funeral Masses and receptions, and maintain calendar of events.  Managed PDS (Parish Data System) database.  Process bulk mailers going to parishioners.  Special projects, as assigned, such as design Golden Jubilee graphics for letterhead, envelopes, and souvenir items.  Created and developed office forms.

Parish Secretary

Built and maintained strong business relationships with customers, resulting in increased sales.  Worked with vendors to provide low cost alternatives.  Ensure customer satisfaction.  Managed schedule of shipment/delivery of orders, and coordinated with carriers.  Responsible for preparation of sales quotes, correspondences, order entry, billing customers, and purchasing of materials related to customers' orders.  Produced worksheets to facilitate tracking and updating prices.  Created metrics package to track sales amounts for accounting.  Designed marketing / sales tools, such as flyers, business cards, letterhead, and annual Christmas cards.  Provided administrative and sales support to CEO.

Member of the "pioneer staff" that opened the store at the Hilltop Mall.  Helped not just in sales, but also in merchandise display.  Later transferred to San Leandro, CA store in September 1994.
