I worked with Ken Block and Brian Scotto's apparel company, Hoonigan, over the last year. I was a part of the marketing department, posting for social media, creating promotions, preparing for events, and managing the e-commerce store. As a marketing specialist, my goal is to grow brand visibility and create meaningful, long lasting relationships with customers.

At Hoonigan, I was the manager of the e-commerce site. Responsibilities included analyzing customer behavior/financial reports on Google Analytics, and integrating content with products. Another responsibility was online advertising. I worked with 3rd party contractors to strategically target and retarget customers who visited our website or had similar interests to our brand. During my year at Hoonigan, we grew revenue by 50% from the previous year.

As a lifestyle brand with considerable content provided to our customers/fans, it was important to have a strong social media presence. As Assistant Marketing Coordinator, I helped manage our Facebook/Instagram pages, which had 1.2 million and 210 thousand followers, respectively. The growth of our following during my time was 200k on Facebook and 100k on Instagram. 

I also worked with our marketing department to come up with and execute several successful promotions. When I was named Assistant Marketing Coordinator, our company was involved in a test run with the popular lifestyle retail store, Zumiez. One of my first tasks was to help develop and execute a marketing plan to inform our fans/customers that we would be available in select stores around the country. With good sales at Zumiez, Hoonigan would have a much broader reach and would become a marquee brand that other retailers would covet. We began with products in 50 of their stores, and due to a effective marketing campaign, the test was a success and Zumiez expanded our contract to place products in all 550 of their US locations, as well as 25 locations in Canada. 

Other tasks I was given included working with a public relations firm to communicate various messages and news about our brand to the public and working with photographers and our marketing department to present our products in a favorable fashion.
