I was born to be a writer. My upbringing and personal experiences manifested an insanely creative outlet for writing. I have a critical eye when it comes to editing content and only put out the highest quality work. 

My future could go in any direction, as long as I have a pen in hand and am documenting what I see around me. I have a passion for life and a passion for telling stories.

I am also currently completing my Master's of Library and Information Science at San José State University and embrace environments that will allow me to learn, inform and contribute to society. My previous career experience combined with the techniques I have learned through my coursework have prepared me for:

Entering library collection into database, categorizing, alphabetizing and organizing books, providing orientation to library use and online public access catalog, checking in and out patrons, assigning bar code labels to each book, and implementing policies, procedures and mission of the library.

Librarian

Checking in, sorting and shelving books, shelf reading, sweeping library sections, and assisting patrons with their informational needs.

Researching and writing for the Alegría Fresh newsletter, updating and creating content for social media platforms, and conducting interview with people to find positive solutions for the survival of local urban farms.

Managing 12 phone lines, policy retrieval, logging and filing medical records, entering chart information into medical database, operator training, conflict resolution, directing clients to appropriate location, scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, faxing medical charts, and providing excellent customer service.
