This past summer I was an Intern at K2, working with the Ski Boot and Backcountry Tool Design Engineers developing prototypes for products, and I recently finished my senior project involving impact strength and abrasion resistance testing on K2's Ski Boot Outsoles. This senior project encompassed designing and building of testing equipment, testing of samples in different material types, and quantitatively interpreting test results.
