Dylan Nguyen grew up in Southern California, graduated from Long Beach State University, majored in Technical Theatre with Costume Design as his focus. He attended Otis College of Art and Design, and earned his Associate Degree in Fashion Design at Orange Coast College. During his college years, Dylan was an assistant designer for Cal Rep Royal Theatre’s productions of “The Goat or, Who is Sylvia”, and “The Thugs” . He served as costume designer for Long Beach State University’s showcase such as Triptych, Suicide Inc., as a mentor designer for “They Set Our Anger Free” and Lighting Designer for “Wanda’s Visit.” Dylan also worked as an assistant for Costume Designer, Donna Dickens, for “Great Expectation,” costume construction for Orange Coast Theatre “The 80’s Show” and “The Merry Wives of Windsor”. Since summer 2014 to present, Dylan Costume Designed for Little Fish Theatre’s Productions of “ Mama Won’t Fly”, “The Ghost In The Meadow” and “Rita’s Education”. Dylan is currently working as Fitter, alteration and consultant for David’s Bridal.
