Sales Manager

Proven Sales Manager for successful companies with a demonstration of growing expertise in several industries. Self-driven and dynamic individual contributing paramount leadership in salesmanship, operations, customer service and motivational guidance.

Began working for the #1 Trek dealer in the World as a part-time job while attending college. In 2013, I was recognized as the top salesman at the San Marcos location selling $519,322 worth of product. As a sales manager at the San Marcos location, I have been given the task to coach, encourage and teach nine subordinates to reach our sales goals on a day-to-day basis. During team meetings, I motivate team members to focus on selling the value of our product by our excellent expertise and our tremendous customer service.  My role entails directing the store in all areas from sales, operations and customer service. Since becoming the sales manager at the San Marcos location, our store was named Store of the Year in 2013 achieving a 15% growth in sales dollars and 11% growth in profit dollars from 2012. Currently our location is at a 12% increase in profit dollars from last year and increased our profit margin from 34.77% to 38.87%.

With my dedication, I had to be quick to learn the facets of an unexplored industry at Paulson Manufacturing Corporation. Paulson Manufacturing specializes in equipment related to eye and face protection for industries such as defense, aerospace, public safety, industrial facilities, and professional sports teams. Exporting to over 80 countries, Paulson Manufacturing was named SBA’s District Exporter of the Year in 2011. As an on-site Sales Representative my role entailed providing information about everything in our product line and to reinforce to our existing clients why Paulson Manufacturing was second to none in the industry. In a short period of time, my knowledge and versatility earned me responsibilities including entering purchase orders, sending invoices, creating samples, sending out catalogs, answering phone calls/emails, creating spreadsheets and learning about our competitors.
