The bulk of my professional work experience was with Aeon English Language school in Kyoto, Japan. More than anything, that job taught me the value of a strong message, delivered by the right medium to the right audience. Now, after having completed my Master's degree in Marketing and Public Relations, I am looking to put my knowledge into practice and craft messages and campaigns for products and services here in the U.S.

•	Prepared and taught four to seven classes daily, including private and large group lessons with anywhere from 1-20 students, ages 18-90. 
•	Chosen as the trainer for four incoming teachers and staff, acclimating new foreign employees to the job duties and lifestyle changes. 
•	Assisted in the marketing efforts of AEON language schools by coordinating the advertising campaign; consisting of coordinating monthly poster and flyer creation and updates, and serving as the voice for two radio promotions that lead to an increase of more than one hundred new students during my tenure.
•	Conducted continual qualitative data collection from students concerning the school’s marketing efforts and rank among other English language schools and other AEON schools.
•	Conducted daily interviews with prospective students, explaining the organizational philosophy and structure. 
•	Assisted with individual and staff meetings to determine future needs of the students, as well as the direction of the organization.

Instructor

•	Coordinated daily operations and assisted, as needed, in the role of Accounting Manager.  
•	Reorganized inventory layouts and continually updated appearance of store and marketing promotions to attract business.
•	In charge of 8 staff members, and responsible for dealing with employee issues, and staffing concerns on a day-to-day basis. 
•	Implemented new promotions and marketing ideas with the Manager in order to increase sales and attract new business. 
•	Conducted quarterly inventories.

Assistant Manager

•	Helped build the business from the first month in operation.
•	Increased brand awareness with signs, flyers, coupons, and convention appearances.
•	Assisted with sales and product information, encouraging customers in the know and educating those that wished to know more.
•	Participated in extensive product research and testing.
•	Assisted in inventory purchases and bulk orders.
•	Organized and ran weekly events for dedicated customers, while creating an atmosphere that encouraged new patrons.
