I'm a current senior at the University of Denver with work experience in a few different industries. During my studies, I've developed as an always inquisitive student and as a rising professional. Traveling in my youth enabled me to possess a global perspective, of which I pride myself on. Working the 'real world' has given me an elevated passion for Marketing, and more specifically, Advertising. As a Market Research Intern, I experienced the topics I've read about in textbooks firsthand. My supervisors exposed me to tools like search engine optimization, website analyses, creative briefs, strategic analyses and a variety of other useful marketing skills. As a College Financial Representative, I gained a heightened sense of persistence and confidence. Working in sales is difficult, but I was able to take away invaluable and intangible skills through the proper amount of mentoring and by having access to the right tools. As a barista I've learned how to multi-task on a completely new level. Customers want their coffee and they want it now, and having exceptional time and task management skills is paramount for a great customer experience. With the advancement of my career, I plan on taking my inquisitiveness with me so I will never stop learning.
