Having experience working for a small businesses focused on mechanical, software and pneumatic engineering, David has extensive knowledge of product development processes, creating BOMs, inventory management, parts procurement and design/testing specifically with Solidworks. In addition, David has experience with bidding for government Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) contracts and holds a certificate in AutoCAD through UCSD Extension.

David is currently looking for an entry level engineering position. He will be completing his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Jacobs School of Engineering, University of California San Diego graduating in June 2015.

•	Design 3D automotive parts utilizing Solidworks to test for flow/load simulations ensuring reliability and durability
•	Create BOMs (build of materials lists), assembly instructions and user manuals
•	Serve as project lead for development of vehicle specific applications utilizing proprietary patented technology, including the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T, BMW 335i and Subaru vehicles
•	Serve as procurement and operations manager to streamline operations and improve company efficiency
•	Increase production line efficiency and quality by implementing process control during testing and assembly of final product
•	Identify industry applications and prospective clients for Synapse technology while establishing customer relations
•	Determine requirements for development of technology into commercial deployment
•	Establish licensing agreements for existing and future Intellectual Property

Applications Engineer

•	Developed and tested proprietary hydraulic actuators to show improved performance and reliability over existing market components
•	Utilized Solidworks to practice flow and load simulations
•	Analyzed and interpreted data of pressurized bypass valves using the Motec Advanced Data Logger to test for valve position against signal strength
•	Maintained product quality by performing materials hardness testing and data analysis

R&D Engineering Intern

•	Composed Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) project proposals by presenting proprietary Digital Beam Forming (DBF) technology to obtain DOD and NASA SBIR contracts
•	Adapted a real-time Hyperterminal controlled step motor into a Matlab GUI
•	Assisted in the development of a Matlab controllable 3 axis digital compass used to demonstrate instantaneous beam forming and nulling as yaw, pitch and roll varied
•	Aided in the design and development of a 4 element reflector array test bed used to demonstrate beam forming and beam nulling in the Ku frequency band

Engineering Intern

•	Primary contact for suppliers and clients regarding casino gaming equipment
•	Adviser for all network, IT and website based tasks
•	Assisted in the partnership with Harrah’s Rincon Casino Group as a client for WWGE (Worldwide Gaming Exchange, see below)
•	Aided in the development of WorldwideGamingExhange.com website for casino groups to buy and sell casino equipment.
•	Performed daily administrative tasks.
