My name is Bryan Ford and I am a recent graduate of the University of Northern Colorado where I majored in English with a concentration in writing.  After receiving my degree, I took a 6-month marketing internship with RECARO Child Safety in Auburn Hills, Michigan.  While completing my internship at RECARO, I gained valuable experience in Social Media Marketing, Competitive Analysis, Retailer Pricing Analysis, and I was given the lead for the Accessory Program for our car seat and stroller lines.  These accessories are to be used in bundle programs for our key retailers but they are also available for individual purchase.

I would like to apply my learning and skills to a position with your company and I am eager to continue growing my abilities as my career progresses.  By focusing on fresh ideas and achieving customer satisfaction through the newest technologies and design excellence, I believe that every company has the potential to realize growth.  I would like to be a part of the team that experiences that growth both personally and professionally.

Made cold calls to find prospects, created email sales campaigns, demonstrated software using GoToMeeting, closed sales.
I left because the marketing responsibilities that I was told I would have were non-existent.  I did not like the direction in which my career was headed so I decided to search elsewhere.

National Account Manager

While at RECARO, I wrote competitive analysis reports, created the Blogger Review Program and doubled our social media followers, I managed our social media pages, created Safety Tips and News articles for use in our social media marketing (one for each week of the year - seasonal articles such as Halloween Safety, Summer Road Trip Safety, and worked with car seat safety technicians to create articles such as Grandparents' Guide to Car Seats - Buckling Up Your Precious Grandchildren, and 2014 LATCH Changes), created text for magazine ad in Fit Pregnancy, created the Accessory Program and added 12 products to be used in bundle programs for key retailers and to be available for individual purchase, PowerPoint Presentation on Social Media Marketing to the CEO and Presidents of RECARO International (Germany, France, England, Japan) during their visit in April, weekly call with Amazon.com to discuss market position, sales trends, and promotional schedule, created surveys, press releases.
