My interest in this industry began in high school where I took my first visual arts classes. I was immediately hooked on photography, screen printing, and offset printing. I love the traditional methods and I miss the hands on processes which have changed with the rise in technology. I studied graphic arts and graphic communication technology in college and have been working in both fields since I graduated. I later decided to take my education to the next level and recently graduated with my MFA in Graphic Design. I hope to continue down this career path as I learn and grow into leadership positions so that I may explore and share my passions with others.

Specialties: Design for print, logo and brand identity, design for sign manufacturing, digital printing, photo retouching, communicating with customers and vendors.

•	Provide management and continual instructional support for a team of three.
•	Oversee workflow of department's production equipment and digital file creation.
•	Design all new products within manufacturing capabilities and specifications.
•	Create PDF customer proofs in the form of illustrated and/or technical drawings.
•	Communication with internal customer service, department heads as well as outside vendors.
•	OSHA 10-Hour Certified. 


•	Liaison between customer and color imaging operators.
•	Scanned proofs for color matching / correcting.
•	Accounts included Organic Gardening, Running Times, and Prevention Specials.
•	Responsible for sending proofs to printer and transferring files via FTP.
•	Produced page layout for classified sections of Runner’s World and Running Times magazines as well as designed print ads for Rodale’s advertisers.


Imaging Services Representative

•	Created new art for clients, and edited art supplied by clients.
•	Work included print on demand and variable data.
•	Communication with vendors for out-soured work.
•	As in-house production lead, I operated and performed maintenance on the Kodak NexPress 2100 and a variety of bindery and mailing equipment.
•	Certified Kodak NexPress operator training in Rochester, NY.
•	Clients included HBO, Spike TV, CMT, Lifetime Network, and Rutgers University


Graphic Artist / Lead Print Production

•	Pre-flighted files for press, sent jobs to RIP.
•	Operated the Xerox Igen3 used for variable data and short runs.
•	Scanned film to convert to digital files, removed dust, scratches, etc.
•	Designed materials for company as well as company logo.
