Rafael has led a handful of start-ups into ongoing and fully operational organizations as his marketing expertise has been building up for the past twelve years in both For-Profit and Non-Profit management arenas. His socio-economic contributions to the State of Georgia by leading regional and national economic development projects gave him nationwide recognition by Government, media and academia, becoming a well respected Marketing Communications professional capable of turning ideas into reality.

Overhead International, LLC is a lifestyle branding company established in 2010 to serve the surfing segment of the boardsports industry, particularly in North and South America by reaching out to Surfers and Surfing lifestyle enthusiasts that  share a passion for the sport, are looking for quality and innovative apparel, and are somewhat concern about our environment. Overhead International is a company that stands to help improve the human behavior towards our planet by preserving and protecting the environment and natural resources such as the oceans, waves and beaches. The Company contributes by donating resources, including financial to local Non-profit organizations that develop and execute hands-on projects for coastal communities in need.

Designed printed visual communication in the form of ads, logos, and corporate ID packages for HACED

Conducted in-depth analysis on selected organizations to retain funding

Developed a marketing plan for MJ and designed and implemented a media buying plan

Matched more than 50 Georgia-based companies with foreign firms, (10 resulted in export contracts)
Updated the package on how to conduct export activities in the State of Georgia (www.georgia.org)
