I have twenty five plus years experience in the action sports industry in customer service, production and sales and have collaborated with like minded driven individuals who work as a team.

•	Supervise sales operations team and distribute work to ensure accurate response to retail customer needs and timely entry of all orders from retail and eCommerce accounts

Sales Operations Manager

Responsible for all customer service functions, including EDI; transmitting and receiving all documents through SPS Commerce.  Maintain UPC catalog, interface with all major department store buyers, EDI departments and Inovis/QRS.   Review, report and dispute charge backs.  Communicate sales and product information to sales reps.  Work with designers and artists with regards to new product lines.  Responsible for all sampling and trade show coordination.

Purchase blank goods for screen printing the Five Crown line and private label for a major retailer.  Place  production orders and coordinate directly with manufacturing regarding production and shipping schedules to ensure on time shipping.  Communicate  specific customer compliance requirements to several departments so standards are met, minimizing charge backs and maximizing profit.

Customer Service/Production Coordinator

Supervised eleven customer service representatives and one clerical for Alstyle customer service department. Interviewing and hiring of customer service reps.   Set schedules and  performed CSRs  probationary and annual performance and wage reviews.  Monitoring of incoming/outgoing customer service calls on the ACD (800) lines and provided coaching when necessary.    Interface with credit department manager and employees regarding credit approvals, distribution center manger and employees  as well as allocation manager  to expedite order fulfillment.  Communicated customer service coverage issues with West West Coast sales manager and sales team.  Provided customer service to select local major accounts.

Customer Service Manager

Set up software/systems for Customer Service and Production for Five Crown tee shirt line.  Responsible for all customer service functions, including EDI; transmitting and receiving all documents via a VAN service. Responsible for all sampling and trade show coordination.

Customer Service/EDI Coordinator

Performed Sales Administration functions that include direct customer service, order processing, customer follow-up communication, internal expediting, invoicing, timely and accurate reporting to support sales planning.  Responsible for updating all marketing leads and sending literature to potential customers.

Sales Administration

Supervised customer service representatives (6) for two brands, ensuring both retail accounts and sales representatives receive exemplary service.  Established job descriptions and department policies.  Responsible for product allocation to large customer base/ retail accounts (AS400/ACS software).  Maintained department during 30% increase in sales and the addition of a new clothing line. Inventory and sales analysis; reported sales and shipping goals to National Sales Manager and CFO.   Collaborated with credit department, production and warehouse staff with regards to receiving and shipping product on time.  Partnered with IT department to develop and implement in house Rep ordering system and the in house EDI.  Responsible for hiring, training, performance reviews of customer service staff.

Sales Assistant, Bob Skoldberg, Rusty (1998-1999) 
Assisted Regional Sales Manager with key domestic accounts retail accounts, 
as well as all International accounts and distributors.  Tracked shipping of all orders.       Processed weekly, quarterly and seasonal sales reports.  Attended all meetings with accounts; responsible for showing Rusty Junior clothing line.  Follow up with production and merchandising departments with regards to accounts’ special needs/requests.  Worked with buyers, providing delivery and product availability information.  Attended local trade shows.  Scheduled appointments with International accounts and distributors; selling available and clearance inventory.


International Coordinator - C & C Companies (Rusty)  (1994-1998)
Provided customer service to International accounts, distributors, and licensees.  Order follow through from order entry, shipping, processing required documents for shipping, as well as setting up and  receiving payment via wire transfer or L/C.  Acted as Customer Service Coordinator for Canadian licensee.  Processed  reports, set up production cuts and did receiving for all domestic shipments to Canada.  Maintained inventory and product allocation  for Canadian orders and sales reports to US National Sales Manager.  Provided customer service to Canada retail accounts and sales reps.  Communicated with all licensees with regards to sample shipments and production tracking.  Responsible for aging on all International and licensee accounts.  Scheduled appointments for at once sales for international accounts, distributors and licensees.  Corresponded with company attorneys with regards to International trademark and counterfeiting issues.	


Customer Service Rep/Manager - C & C Companies, Irvine, CA (1988-1994)
Originally hired as Customer Service Rep for licensee for Gotcha.  Provided accounts and sales reps with inventory availability and order status. Performed data entry, return authorizations, order maintenance and all other aspects of customer service.  Promoted to Manager position after one year for the surf brand Rusty and volleyball brand Redsand.   Interviewed and staffed the customer service department for both lines.  Trained and supervised 6 data entry and customer service representatives.  Established department policies and procedures.  Responsible for department budget and employee reviews.  Communicated  with production department daily to ensure on time deliveries of product to retailers.  Performed daily product allocation to ensure on time and even distribution of inventory.  Provided sales reports to upper management and monthly shipping projections to CFO.  Attended daily and weekly management meetings and collaborated with Production, Credit and Shipping departments.  Sold past season stock to discount retailers.   Responded to staffing and department needs as sales doubled yearly for 3 consecutive years.
