I’m a University of Northern Colorado senior, due to graduate in December with degrees in marketing and management. Upon graduating, I will be entering the marketing field – more specifically, within promotion and event production. Throughout my time at UNC, I’ve had countless opportunities to work on campus and be involved in clubs and organizations, competitions and the like. Through these experiences, I’ve discovered my immense passion for marketing and events. Not only do I love working with people, but being able to see a campaign or activity through to a successful end is truly satisfying for me. I’ve worked to develop my skills to complement this field; I work well in teams but am always self-motivated as an individual, am extremely organized, have extensive leadership experience and am completely comfortable presenting and speaking in front of others. I have many experiences and accomplishments that I’m proud of, but some of my most relevant qualifications are as follows: • I’ve been a member of the UNC Marketing Association Executive Board for 3 years as Community Service & Events Coordinator, VP of Membership and, currently, President. I’ve planned a variety of events and headed up much of our chapter reporting. (See Organizations) • I currently work as a Partnership Marketing Intern at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. I work with account managers and their clients to put on in-game promotions. (See Experience) • During the summer of 2013, I worked as a Marketing Intern at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland, CO. Alongside general marketing functions like website updating and writing press releases, I assisted in putting on the week-long Global Spectrum National Conference. (See Experience) I am also a huge Denver sports fan, Colorado native, social media fan and Foursquare superuser.
