Social Media Manager/Graphic Designer

I am a 22 year old, self motivated, driven designer and social media guru. I am a graduate of Westminster College class of 2014 with a Communication major and a Business minor. I have over a decade of experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and have 2 years of agency experience. When I'm not designing or increasing social media metrics, I can be found in the Wasatch backcountry searching for first tracks.

My responsibilities include creating social media content for almost 40 clients, scheduling them through a CMS system (Hootsuite), responding to inquiries through Facebook etc. and designing any necessary materials to suit client needs. I also create ad campaigns and run them frequently for multiple clients while staying within their budget and catering to a specific, targeted audience.

During my time at Idyllwild, I designed all marketing materials, banner ads, logos, and websites for a multitude of different clients. I also redesigned client websites and updated them as necessary with any graphics they may need. I worked closely with the social media director and Idyllwild's team of  developers to deliver materials to our clients on time and on budget.

As a Marketing Consultant, I managed client needs and assisted account executives with tasks related to their accounts. I managed 4 of my own accounts and produced invoicing for others. I also created site design comps for our developers and work with the development, tech, SEO, and account departments to complete tasks for our clients all while making sure no part of the team was overloaded.

While at URE, I created graphics for advertising and for social networking purposes. I also assisted in any task given to the marketing department (Social Media, Event Planning, etc.). I helped to rebrand URE's new member packet to update it to their organizational standards.

Marketing Intern

As an intern at the law office of Christensen & Hymas, I worked on a marketing team of 5-6 to complete relevant projects for the law firm. This position required me to both design graphics and monitor and post on all social media platforms. I worked almost exclusively with Hootsuite and the Adobe Creative Suite designing and sharing infographics.

Marketing Assistant

During the winter of 2012-2013 I worked as a member of the Ski & See Ski Tech team. I managed customer tunes and orders making sure that the tunes were completed by the requested date. I also assisted customers in finding the right products for their specific needs. I was able to handle a large volume of customers at one time assisting with rentals and tunes all while learning about the latest products in the store. With this knowledge, I matched customers with the correct gear to suit their needs.

Ski Tech

During the summer of 2011, I worked as a siding installer on the Oregon Coast. I removed old siding and fixed any rotting that may have previously occurred. I also used power tools and all other necessary equipment to complete the task.

During high school, I worked as a courtesy clerk for Shop Smart in La Pine, Oregon. I assisted customers in locating items, kept all shelves stocked and faced and Cleaned and organized the store in order to improve its appearance to customers. I also assisted the store managers with all requests for products and building of displays.

I was acting editor in chief of a 16,000 dollar publication where I managed a staff of 25-30 students and edited every page of the book. All deadlines were met and the publication was released early. My duties included; motivating staff, editing all copy, layout, and pictures, creating layouts, creating a theme and networking with reps to keep our book on schedule and on budget.
